Have friends in Conroe who swear they had a thin layer of ice on the water in the bird bath last week. Just really strange. We sure could use some rain.

Here in La Quinta, it was low 50’s this morning but just east in Thermal it was 37.....they’re quite a bit below sea level and the coolness ‘drains’ downward.

That temp is at an elevation of about 900 feet above sea level. The forecast has now changed to 42 F Saturday morning. Still too early for that temp. We usually get that low occasionally in December-February.

We sure could use some rain.

Thank goodness we've had a few rainy days since the temps fell off. We sure did need it.

Let's hope this almanac prediction holds. Texas could use a good long soaking.
