A trio of cruel Halloween hooligans are behind bars Tuesday after police say they targeted trick-or-treating children with paintball guns in North Miami.
Marc Dolcine, 18, Rodson Travine, 19, and Darrel Labranche, 21, are all facing aggravated battery charges, according to North Miami Police.
Police say the three drove up in a car and opened fire on a group of children in the area of Northeast 7th Avenue and 132nd Street. A Holiday Safety Enforcement Detail was in the area and witnessed the shooting, police said.
The suspects tried to flee the area but were stopped by police and taken into custody and their paintball guns were impounded. Four other paintball guns and a BB gun from another incident were also impounded, police said.
The Holiday Safety Enforcement Detail was initiated after police say there were 11 reported cases of paintball shootings in North Miami beginning on Oct. 10.
Dolcine, Travine and Labranche were being held on $7,500 bond Tuesday. It was unknown whether they had attorneys.
What is wrong with these people?
Just what went through their pitifully small minds just before the phrase “Yeah, this is a good idea” tumbled from their lips?
If such a thing had happened to us last night while I was accompanying my son trick-or-treating I would almost certainly have returned fire.

PS - I don't own a paint-ball gun.
And there were six real shootings in Washington DC on Halloween night. There certainly are some human animals out there.
From here.

I bet it's the same guy.
Others can chase down the other two.
Now why do they show a white guy acting responsibly, with proper protective gear, in the stock image? (rhetorical question only)
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
