I’ve purchased candy for the past several year and never had a kid show up. No more candy. If i do get a kid or two, I’ll drop a couple used racquetballs in their bags.......kids always can use rubber balls.

Hey!! Smarties are on that list. I love Smarties. My kids do, too. Lol

I plan to give the older kids candy. I’d rather them out trick or treating than getting into trouble. We tell them to “grow up” then tell them “you are not adults”. Well if they are not 18 they can have some candy if they behave and are polite!

How dare you call me a fascist. Your snarky post isn’t worth a reply. Obviously you are a Paulbot that supports the Occupy Wall Street protestors, and their cause, which is to destroy the old order of things and usher in a new one. My loyalties dont lie with them.

Cough Drops! PERFECT! After all, that’s what the street vermin need after shouting obscenities all day.

Speaking of tooth destroyers, in a recent thread, someone asked whatever happened to the candy called ‘Turkish Taffee’. As I recall, that one was a fillings puller. It would make an excellent candy to the street vermin, so returning to their middle and upper class families after playing anarchist, the dental bills could pile up.

Put crime scene tape across the door opening and don’t turn on the porch light. I’ll be wearing my molle vest, fully packed.

So we that don't support the Occupy Wall Street Protesters are fascist???? Are your sure your on the correct forum? I think you will find more people willing to stand with you on your soap box over on the DU.

One of my favorite candies is ‘Mary Janes’, a peanut and molasses taffy product. I keep the individually wrapped pieces in the fridge ... and that makes the taffy even more sticky! But I pop them in my mouth and let them dissolve, so they last much longer.

easy,
the guy fawk mask wearer has to first give one piece of candy to each of the other kids and then they get ONE from your offer.
If there are no other kids, they have to give three into the pot to get one new one.

Calm down. I didn’t day anything about the protesters. I simply explained what the movie “V” was about.

Peace then. I never watched V and never said I did. I'm simply pointing out that the OWS movement has adopted the mask and are using it as an anti-establishment message that has been embraced by the Wall Street occupiers.
Comic-book mask puts a face on Occupy rallies
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2016643547_masks30.html
“Plastic versions of the masks have been widely available since the comic book was made into a movie in 2006. But it was the “hacktivist” collective, Anonymous, that imbued it with real-life symbolism. Hackers, seeking to protect their identities, donned the masks whenever they appeared in public”
To: NavyCanDo
They adopted the mask because they are too stupid to know the difference between capitalism and fascism.
A child trick-or-treater would wear it because it looks neat and the movie had lots of cool fights and a big building blows up at the end.
