I would be interested to see Cain’s coat-tail effects in the various house/senate races.

If Palin and Cain worked out a joint strategy (Plus Tea Party groups), the smack down against the DNC would be immense.

In the latest PPP poll, Jon Bruning is ahead of Nelson 46-42. Stenberg is showing ahead as well by 44-41 and Deb Fischer is barely behind Nelson at getting 39% to Nelson’s 41%. Pat Flynn comes in on the losing end as Nelson beats him 43-36.

IMO what's most significant in these numbers is Nelson's inability to rise above the low 40s. Very good sign for any challenger.

I suspect he's toast.
