At first, I thought this might be directed toward the Hildebeast. Then I considered maybe Skippy him(her)self.
My take is that Palin has better things to do than lower herself into this cesspool.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll reiterate...
Mrs. Palin has likely ‘read the tea leaves’, so to speak, and has determined that whoever the next POTUS is, they will inherit a mess of Biblical proportions. Anything that goes wrong will be forever tied to the next President. Barring massive change, backed up with an iron fist, this country is going to experience a time of nastiness unlike any we’ve ever witnessed.
It is my firm belief that unless there is a massive repentance and turning back to God, He is about to judge our country. We’ve tried His patience enough. I think He has told her this, and I think He has told her NOT to run so as to spare her and her family from the label of “failure”.
There are some who refuse to let go. To them I say: Get help, and quickly. (This half reminds me of the scenes from ‘Babylon 5’ where the over-zealous Narn attempts to kill G’Kar because he refused to become his planet’s leader. Hanging onto one person as one’s only hope of deliverance...other than God...leads to evil consequences.)

The problem with seeking public office in the modern era is that the process has become so filthy and corrupt that most (not all) honest, decent people want nothing to do with it.
At one time I was naive enough to think it had become that way by acts of omission or inattentiveness on the part of good people.
Now I know that it is intentional.
The few good people that brave the system and do make it through the process to win an election and take office are soon suborned by the corrupt old pols or trashed by the same old pols with the willing assistance of the media.
