I’d say Buchanan is pretty accurate.

In 2025 Buchanan will be 87 years-old. He should be offering positive dreams and aspirations to our children and grandchildren. I don’t believe he has any progeny for posterity.
Buchanan wrote about this about 10 years ago if I remember right. Much of his forecasts from “Death of the West” are well on their way. The West is killing itself in many ways by uplifting the rest of the world that was previously kept in check by wars, famine, and disease. Western advances have spread across the world and diminished the impact of these, allowing populations to explode.
It would be a golden opportunity if it happened, but clearly the right is nowhere near prepared to capitalize on it.
I’d agree with you and Pat, it wouldn’t be the first time Buchanan is correct. One term for it is “Balkanization”—it’s happened before. Why I think Slick Willy involved us in one derivative back in the ‘90’s.
I don’t know if Pat is right, but I’m pretty sure Mark Steyn was right in “America Alone”. Western Civilization is dying out, demographically. Not a good thing.
By 2025, California will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Mexico. They will own the ballot box and won’t need the reconquista.

If Pat Buchanon could predict the future for even ten minutes he’d be at Pimlico or Hialiah and you’re be reading about trifectas falling all over the place.
Will we survive to — and past — 2025?
In the early morning of the first Wednesday of November 2012... we’ll know.
We have a chance to survive... if we make the u-turn soon. If not, then survival of America as we know her will not be in the cards.
