I was recently back in Texas to oversee some business.
I shared some time with George P. Bush very recently. Nice kid. Pushing a real estate investment fund for distressed properties in Houston-Austin-Dallas Texas.
Long story short, the machine (to the extent it still exists) is clearly supporting Romney.
I doubt this surprises anyone, but I figured you'd want to know.
You’re right; I’m not surprised.
Birds of a feather . . . .
Thanks for the report.
Oh boy, another 2008 election and 4 more years of 0bama as an agenda to look forward to then.
These big political machines had better start transferring their support to Herman Cain. If they don’t, they’re going to be left behind in the dust!
Conformation of suspicions is always helpful.
GW was never a bug wave maker.
America's Ruling Class -- And the Perils of Revolution By Angelo M. Codevilla
Differences between Bushes, Clintons, and Obamas are of degree, not kind.
Oh, it exists. I see and hear it every day and they are pimpin' hard for Milt.
People who want to create a third party already have one. The GOP consists of the conservative party and the liberal party.
Which one do we use to gain back control of the GOP?
The Demoncrats are the new National Socialist party from Germany.
yes, two of the most visible rinos.
karl rino and pe-rino.
A lot of FReepers are blowhard RINOs too.
Oh...really?....never mind.
Must be RINO mating season.
I read that article earlier. It is a must read -- brilliant thinking.
Their ambition is to create a class of native-born compesenos ~ or an American PEASANTRY.
Obviously the Bush family and Romney believe strongly in this program and will do almost anything to advance it.
Obama and his backers in the Democrat party prefer slavery but we don't allow that anymore.
During Bush 1, I tutored adults in Barbara's drive to teach adults who had fallen through the cracks to learn to read. When Barbara was booed at one of the Ivy's (Wellesley, I think), I felt sorry because she and later Laura seemed to be real ladies. I knew they were wealthy elites, but hoped for a bit of understanding.
After supporting George W. twice( I would do it again, given the alternatives), I was disappointed in his lack of passion in using the President's bully pulpit to push conservative ideas, thus allowing Freddie and Fannie to go on ruining the economy and other things of that nature.
I slowly came to realize that although George W. seems to love this country and its sovereignty a bit more than Geo.H. W., they are STILL and always members of the elite and simply cannot see past the brotherhood of the Ivies and money to what is really happening.
I wrote the Bush family, per se, off when Barbara dissed Sarah Palin. It was unnecessary, and it was based on the media, DC establishment mantra that Palin was a know nothing because she didn't have a sacred degree from an Ivy and hadn't entree into the exalted establishment.
I wrote the Bush machine off at that time as snobs and mostly RINOS. Just look at Rove and others from the Bushies.
I do not want another Bush and I do not want their pick as nominee.
Mitt Romney is horribly flawed--a proponent of global warming, national health care--he's from Mass. for heaven sakes. Please, help us not to go there.
vaudine
Does anyone know the origin of the animosity between the Perry camp and the Bush camp?
Well written and expresse my own sentiments.
I too was ashamed of Barbara when she attacked Sarah.
It was a stupid thing to do.
