Come on, you mean you never wanted to know the other half of the story, as told by the Norwegians? I agree the female angle is a bit contrived, but have to appeal to everyone, not just the fan base right?

Actually this would make the third remake of The Thing.
The first was done in B&W in the 50’s. Kirk Russell in the second one was just fine for me. Special effects were also very good in #2.
