Is that you Erick? Governor Palin has never set a definite deadline for making her decision, she has only talked about time frames and some of the filing dates. Governor Palin will announce when she is ready. Her team (O4P, C4P, TS, ETC) will be ready in each state when she announces.
And Joe McGinnis and Nick Broomfield believed her and thought their little productions would work off that.
She is something else for that. I was a big supporter, but her behavior through this is not up to it. She can keep preaching. She’s nothing but an increasingly irrelevent whine. She has shackled herself with the way she has gone about this. Now she has lost a lot of respect.
My problem with your statement (and Erick's) is you are too smart to know it's true. No, I mean really, you can’t be making such a statement sincerely believing it to be true. You can read well, you doubtless understand the indeterminate nature of campaign decision making, and if you bothered to read the Ames interview at all, you know full well no firm commitments were made, nor could be made in such a fluid context.
Which raises the question, why would you be pushing a meme you cannot possibly believe yourself to be true? Could it be you want to actively mislead people with weaker reading and research skills? But if so, mislead them into what? Into thinking Palin isn't running? That not working, as the Palin hive is alive and well and looking to the primary filing deadlines just like everyone else.
Or is it just to use the FR platform to create a false impression of Sarah herself for the broader, undecided segment of the electorate? That won’t work either. The moment Palin enters the race, all bets are off. Some phony memes like this may carry some small residual effect for a while, but as we have seen with Palin, she is Teflon with these “false light” attacks, and they will all fade in the light of truth.
