Hey, I watched my Rangers sweep the Halos. It was a great night for baseball, but when this post went up it made no sense. No comment nothing. I’m removing the deserved pancake from my head. I was worried when Detroit won and the Rangers were tied.

I rather expected that a bp pitch would end up over the fence. I think I was right.C'mon that's Scott Proctor. That's what he does. He's served up more meatballs than Mama Leone.
The Yankees were in rest mode, preparing for game one of the playoffs. They really didn't care about the Red Sox one way or the other.

Boston and Atlanta choke on the big one.
To: EyeGuy
A good bet considering the hideous asymmetry in payroll they enjoy, vis-a-vis the vast majority of other MLB teams.

You think Angels fans are just a little bitter about letting Napoli go?

So is Mr. Brylcreem aking the ridiculous statement that Payroll level has NO impact on wins.
If so, why do the Yankees keep spending?

I read their blogs after a game. They said he never played like this for them. They say that Washington brings it out of players. (he does) They also will do anything to get CJ Wilson.

win the division and choke in the post season,
That is a Philly team common practice! Eagles, Phillies, they have both choked when they were in the hot seat! Not once, but multiple times.

Hrm? Phils swept the Barves. I’m rooting for them to win it all for Doc.

The Barves brought it all on themselves. They played terribly. 15 years of leading the division, about time they wandered in the wilderness.

It’s good to see that the Red Sox are going to have plenty of free time to teach pre-teen homosexual recruits how to run away from “bullies” while simutaneously screaming, “Things will get better!” Maybe after they’re done with that, they can work with NASA teaching Muzzies how to like themselves.

With that post, you’ve convinced me my Yankees will win it all!
To: dfwgator
I could definitely see TB vs STL. They are hot at the right time.
To: Yankee
Most of that crowd goes to the game to get drunk and scarf down Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. I guess you've never been to Dodger Stadium.
To: Red Steel
Don't blame the Yankees— all the Redsox had to do was win against the last place team in the division and they'd still be alive.

The Phils’ stellar starting staff has us plenty worried in St. Louis.
Few things are assured in MLB, but one of the more reliable predictors of success is quality in the currency of baseball; starting pitching.
BTW, Charlie Manuel is a class act. He did the game proud by having his team compete to the end, long after they had locked up their Division.

Close. Yanks win at home, it’s not going to take 7. ;)

I guess you've never been to Dodger Stadium. No I haven't, but I've heard the fans there are also legendary for not allowing a baseball game get in the way of their other activities.

What is this DU? Yankees don't deserve their own money?
Number 2 team in $$ —Redsox—didn't work out so well.
