So she resigned so the state could start functioning correctly again and that's bad.

Making money honestly is bad too, right?

That's pathetic you know. NOT reliquishing power for the good of the state would have been selfish. If she had stayed and brought the state to it's knees you'd be screaming about that.

And being successful is now is a crime?

Only a twisted mind blames a conservative for the tricks of the liberal left.

If that be the case then you know Hubert Humphrey was sweating big time having to deal with the charismatic RFK that would probably have given Nixon a better run. RFK was the most charismatic politician of our time he connected with folks personally probably not as well as Sarah does though. I do hope she gets to teat that out on a national level.

The Rats controlled the state legislature.

Are you sure about that? My recollection is that the GOP controlled both chambers. French was on a committee to look into Troopergate but I don't recall him being the president of the Senate.

The article you referred me to says:

Investigator Timothy Petumenos said the Alaska Fund Trust inappropriately used the word "official" on its website to describe it, wrongly implying Palin's endorsement as governor.

It sounds like the fund might have been legal if organized differently.

I see Perry as a pro life, pro second amendment, pro military job creating Governor who would be the same as President. He also has extensive executive experience of the 2nd largest state in both size and population in the Union. It is a very diverse state with a diverse economy. He has military experience as a Captain in the Air Force and C-130 pilot. He would appoint constitutionalists judges and keep taxes low.

Those are all great qualifications and the fact he was an eagle scout, hunter and farmer are just bonuses.

Palin has neither the experience nor the impressive background Perry has. In fact it seems obvious that Palin needs her supporters to make excuses for her, not that she made mistakes, because they don't think she does or can, but because everyone is out to get her because she is so awesome.

That is a big time losing strategy in the general election. We simply have to believe everyone will find her as awesome as her supporters do but realistically it wont happen. Aside from Palin and Bachmanns attempt to smear Perry as a man for sale (when did Republicans start stooping so low against other Republicans?) which didn't stick. Perry is the man to win this thing.

So she resigned so the state could start functioning correctly again and that's bad.

Judging by Palins polling, a large segment of GOP voters think so. Most Americans like a fighter. This gave a lot of folks the impression of cut and run. It may not be fair, but that is the mindset she is up against if she runs. The movie was supposed to correct that, but it bombed.

Palin allies launch new legal defense fund, citing 'witch hunt'

The Cost of Legal Warfare – A Few Words About Today’s Defense Fund Agreement

"One might think that creating a trust fund to collect money to pay legal fees should not be that complicated, but it turns out, it is exceptionally complicated. You should know that as many as seven lawyers were involved in the process; some of whom were and are nationally prominent experts in creating legal defense funds, in evaluating federal and state election laws, state trust law, federal and state tax laws, state reporting requirements and state ethics requirements. It is a sad commentary on public life today when the legal system can be used as a political weapon against an elected official, and it takes a battalion of lawyers to figure out how to fund a defense and counter-attack."

Palin, has the entire world waiting for her.

She has stood for the Tea Party, our constitution, our Military and has endured more scorn than any human being running for office or not should endure.

How dare you supposed conservatives even dare to paint her with the tired liberal brush. You two and the rest of your tweet callling twits should be at the very least owing your damn arse freedom to her ability to draw the line and dare anyone to cross it.

To me you are both less than a freakin socialist jerk from the damned Democrat Party. They don't know any better. However, if you are on this board because of your values, well then, there is no excuse for you.

Post away because I have my quiver full and just waiting....!

Actually the movie didn't bomb. And I have seen 2 FReepers who vehemently argued against Palin change their mind after seeing it.

As to Palins polling when she was in Iowa she stated that she'd never won a poll but has won elections.

This early in the game, polls mean nothing. Especially if someone hasn't entered the race.

Rasmussen Reports Poll Sep 17–18, 2007
Barack Obama 47%
Rudy Giuliani 42%

Rasmussen Reports Poll Sep 17–18, 2007
Barack Obama 47%
Fred Thompson 41%

Rasmussen Reports Poll Sep 12–13, 2007
Hillary Clinton 49%
Mitt Romney 40%

Perry is not a conservative. Obama cannot win why not elect a real conservative along the lines of Ronald Reagan. Obama is toast he has no chance do the electoral math. Sarah will slice and dice him as well or better than anyone else and do exactly what she says she will do.

Interesting, I never once mentioned what my thoughts might be on Palin's lifestyle yet you seem to know them and find them worthy of comment.....yet you totally ignore the facts (yes, facts) that I posted about her tenure as mayor. But then, what else could you do...certainly not dispute the facts.

You call what you wrote FACTS? You accused Sarah of mismanagement, while neglecting to tell the whole story. You quoted figures and necklaced them around Sarah's neck ignoring the literal calender and chronology of events. AND I am suppose to take your charges as credible?

I said NOT one word about your thoughts, I reference your previous words regarding your dislike of Sarah. Maybe you need to review what you claim to be facts over the past years. NO mind reading necessary.
