I admit I am enraged, but still, I am somewhat astonished that I haven't heard that police stations are burning and police helicopters falling out of the sky in Fullerton.

It's because the type of folks that live in Fullerton...don't do that sort of thing.

That isn’t hating cops. That is hating an injustice performed by someone who is suppose to uphold the law. IMHO

Kelly was euthanized by the cops because he was bad for business and a perceived blight on the community. It wasn’t planned, but it was in the back of the minds of the cops that did this.

I admit I was angry and not posting logically. If an apology is due, that’s all you’re getting.

If these incidents became the norm and not the exception (I’ll leave it to you all to debate that) every person can decided for themselves how much blood makes resistance a logical option.

I admit my more likely response to an impending civil war would be to head twelve miles out where the United States ends.

And lived in Fullerton for a few years...Not too far from downtown...

The cops were called to that location because of a vague 911 call about someone possibly trying to break into cars. There's zero evidence, so far, that (1) there really was someone trying to do that, and (2) if so, that it was Kelly.

There's also zero evidence that there was such a call, since the police refuse to release it. As some else stated in the thread, the scuttlebutt is that the beatdown was part of an effort by police to drive the homeless out of the area at the behest of local bar and restaurant owners.
