Actually, reducing salt is also extremely bad advice but we need to consume unrefined natural salt; it emulates your blood due to all the minerals in it. Salt and potassium work in a ratio to each other so to offset salt you can up your potassium.

But most important is using the right salt. Salt does not cause hypertension; magnesium deficiency does.

Yup!

Without salt, the sodium-potassium pumps on the cells won’t work. That means even if you are getting enough potassium, it won’t get into the cells where it is needed.

The potassium-sodium gradient inside versus outside of cells is part of the mix that sustains the electrical charge across the cell membranes.

That drives the movement of materials into-out of the cells and keeps them operating and youthful.

My daughter and I got into an arguement about salt on Sunday. She says there is absolutely no difference between table salt and sea salt. I say there is. Who is right?
