What’s shameful is that they were tried at all, let alone given community work, for swatting the perp with a rolled up newspaper. But hey - “honor punishments” are not allowed for white Christians.

Next time they should do it right, and follow British law: convert to Islam and cut the bastards head off as an honor killing. Then the government will give them a million pound house to live in, along with welfare subsidies.
