TEA = Taxed. Enough. Already
This is a classic case of the reporter: “did not do the research.”
Once again, that isn't what it stands for. "Taxed Enough Already" was a slogan at a rally, it is not the heart of the movement. The movement predates that slogan. The movement is about the same issues which animated our Founding Fathers to hold their Tea Party enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. Read it again... it's still true today and it's about more than taxation.
