I still have an old Pentax Spotmatic somewhere and a nice Takumar 400 mm zoom lens. Both bought in 1969. The following picture, however, was taken this past spring with a Canon 7D at 400 mm. The image is cropped.
White Ibis are great models, I can always find a few around and they're good natured little guys.
The 200mm isn't really enough for most birding but I didn't feel like lugging the Sony yesterday, I just wanted to test the old Pentax. The metering is right on the money.
