Wow, seems like it’s been forever since we last had a Bat-Movie-Ping.

(It’s actually been since July 21, 2008. So like 3 years, lol)

Haven’t been following TDKR as obsessively as I did TDK. Getting older, getting married, buying a house, etc., sorta does that to you.

But still, with the release of the trailer, I expect the anticipation for this movie will really start kicking into high gear soon. The Dark Knight was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of movie, but I’m excited about this one too, and I think it’ll be another fun ride!

Thanks for the ping, pcottraux:

Great looking (with shades of ‘Inception’ towards its end) trailer.

Never thought much of ‘Bane’ as a comic book bad guy. Though I’m looking forward to Tom Hardy’s take on the character and as ‘Rikki Tarr’ in the upcoming ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’.

Also Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who has shown great promise in any role given him. He and Hardy thoroughly rocked as Arthur and Eames in ‘Inception’.

Not thrilled about Ann Hathaway as Selina/Catwoman. A mediocre, one trick pony actress who has yet to excel in any role. My personal choice would be Emily Blunt (British accent and all) just to see her run with it.

Jack.

I was hoping for the title “The Caped Crusader”.

Here are two new pictures I had framed. Also, a movie cut-out a guy sent me. The small picture is a moive cell of 'Batman Returns' signed by Danny DeVito.

The second picture is a "The Dark Knight" movie poster signed by Aaron Eckhart. I ran into his father last April at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. I was wearing one of my TDK tee shirts and he started a conversation with me! Not a great pic since I haven't taken it out the plastic yet. His signature is very light to the right of Batman.
