A juror in the Casey Anthony trial has told how she received death threats and has been unable to work since she was cleared of murder.

The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan, fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

This is stupid and counterproductive. Go after the real criminal, not the jurors. As much as the verdict was horrible, the prosecution managed to fritter away what should have been a slam dunk case.

A bit melodramatic on behalf of the juror’s part.

I don't think lawyers should be able to cherry pick jurors.

But this is wrong and a Very dangerous precedent

As much as the verdict was horrible,

Be consistent. If you believe everything else you are saying, then the verdict was correct, not horrible.

Juror 12 - incapable of critical thought, comes to the stunning conclusion of retirement. [shocking] I find this hard to believe since she doesn’t really know how they are going to do the deed. I’m sure those are idle libtard threats but I’d be wary of anyone with duct tape.

If I’m so afraid, I’m not selling my story to the media, anonymous interviews or not. You do realize that almost every juror on every case faces this at some level, right? Small town juries, especially, since their coworkers are usually impacted in some way or another by their decision. Yet they manage to do their job and move on. This juor and her hyperbolic drama is just giving more and more potential jurors reasons not to serve. It’s already hard as hell to find a decent jury pool, much less jury. Stories like this only scare decent people from serving.

I see your point. You’re correct in that Casey Anthony is not guilty. However, I don’t believe that means she’s innocent either. I do accept the validity of the court’s decision, even though I have my own reservations.

The point is all these post-courtroom theatrics doesn’t do anything to help Caylee, and it seems like a lot of people have forgotten that.

Hmm.... She couldn't live with her decision?

Take that as sarcasm or not.

Hell no, I am not saying that she is not guilty. I am saying that if you think this:

the prosecution managed to fritter away what should have been a slam dunk case.

Then you need to man up and not say things like this:

the verdict was horrible

This was already posted.

Nobody should be threatening her. But if I were a friend of hers I’d be asking her some really hard questions too.
