I am going to disappoint you horribly! I am reading, “Charlotte’s Web” to my five year old. There will come a day when I can pick a book of MY selection, without pictures. I am not there yet! I will take notes, however, on any good books FR’s are reading (unless they have pictues and I will ignore those).
No shame in reading “Charlotte’s Web.” I was delighted to read all of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books, and the Little Britches series, aloud to my kids. Along with many more. Much “children’s literature” is superior to the junk marketed to adults today.
