I’ll replace my deceased Red Eared Slider (used to have two, one died of old age) when the time is right. I have my name out there as willing to adopt, which is better, IMO, than getting a “new” one.

You can get side-necks, I have read of several people who own them.
I was so jazzed to get my little RES, Ralphie, but he/she has turned out to be just as jumpy and scared as the damn Maps.
Somebody tried to give me a Common Snapper the other day, thing was the size of a Frisbee, but I had to pass. I don’t need any dangerous ones, and one of those will have your leg off ;)
