The board may want to have her show hurricane insurance if they want to wait her out. Just to make sure that someone other than the condo will be on the hook for any possible damages from a future huricane.
I suppose it’s a liability and insurance question. Also, since it’s a condo, if her windows blow out it could damage some of the neighboring condos, especially those below her.
