St. Paul police have released video showing the robbery of a Selby Avenue convenience store in which the clerk was able to pull off the suspect's mask and fight back with a can of food.
According to police, a clerk at the AA Avenue Grocery at 682 Selby Ave. was locking up around 10 p.m. on June 8 when a man wearing a mask forced his way inside. The man showed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, then chased him to the back of the store.
In the back, the suspect assaulted the clerk as they fought over the gun. While fighting, the clerk was bale to pull the mans mask off and strike him on the head with a can of food from a nearby shelf.
The fight continued as they moved toward the front of the store, where the clerk was finally able to get the suspect outside and lock the door. The clerk had cuts and scrapes on his head, hands and knees but did not require medical attention.
The suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, 57 to 59, with medium build with short curly hair. He was wearing a black jacket or sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans and a black mask.
Next time, I'll bet the shopkeeper has a better equalizer...
One of 0dumb0's & Eric Holder's people.... the perpetually aggrieved victimized class venting out their rage & frustration. Good thing the white clerk didn't knock him out with can of food.....otherwise the clerk would have been arrested for criminal assult & battery against the black 0dumb0 thug.
Another use for Spam?
Spam would work. But I believe I saw on the label that it was a can of Whoopass...
“The suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, 57 to 59, with medium build with short curly hair. He was wearing a black jacket or sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans and a black mask.”
That description narrows down the list.
He should be easy to find now.
