When the media reports "unexpectedly", what is that worth as a campaign ad? (job data, etc)

Many of us have noticed how progressive journalists use the word 'unexpectedly'. They do it month after month. Al Reuters has an article from last week that uses this word. Yet again, after all this time.

What these are, are campaign advertisements. From the media, to Obama.(most of us know this instinctively)

It's a fair question to ask. And if enough of us ask it, maybe we could find out just how much the media donates to it's preferred candidates.

TOPICS: Reference
KEYWORDS: advertisements; campaignads; campaigning; obama; unexpectedly
All campaign ads have a dollar amount. The media's campaign ads need to be interpreted in a dollar amount.

The progressive media was Obama's biggest campaign contributor in 2008. They will be his biggest campaign contributor in 2012.

If you are perpetually ‘blindsided’ by events, etc., maybe, you're not too smart.

Because, if you are a professional and know what the f*&^ you are doing, you shouldn't be shocked out of your wits on a daily basis like this!!
