From what little I know of him, he lived a debauched life, but anytime a young person dies, it is sad, particularly for those who loved them. Reading this I was reminded of the text Jonathan Edwards used for his classic sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. (Deuteronomy 32:35)
