I bought a new Jeep Cherokee in 1996 for my wife and she still drives it with over 200K miles on it.
I had a Corolla I bought used. It had over 300K miles on it when a little old lady ran a stop sign in front of me and managed to total it.
My wifes 1996 Jeep Cherokee has 315,000 miles on it. The straight 6 has at least another hundred thousand in it. Unfortunately we live in New England and the winter road mix has rusted the bed of the body away from the rear bumper to the front seats. It looks bascially like a Flintstone mobile inside but the straight 6 is one sweet engine.
Bought a New Grand Cherokee Limited V8 in 1996, and had 250K on it when I traded it in 2002 for a Suburban. Wish I still had it.
NOTHING could stop that truck, from Ontario snow banks to I-65 Snowdrifts.
