I wasn’t talking about Poirot. I was talking about the episode they did of Death on the Nile where they made one of the characters gay.

Agatha Christie would never have mentioned such a thing out loud in public, and certainly not Miss Marple or Poirot. They would hint at it, and talk around it (Joan Hickson - could you just imagine her face - she would Never say such a thing) but an overt mention, no.

Ahhhhh. Thanks for clarifying. I like Hixon, too—easily the most believable of the many. (Margaret Rutherford & Helen Hayes were TERRIBLE.)
