Thanks for the insight, Quix.
I vaguely recall seeing Camping on a public TV channel some time ago. He seemed anti-establishment, and scorned by the apparent division that existed between him, some old associates, and the institution he once belonged. He had a persuasive personality.
He used to be pretty bright and think well on his feet. It was virtually impossible to get him to see any truth he did not label as truth, however.
I did manage to cause a befuddled look on his face at a fund raising banquet in San Diego once. I forget what I said—something that made it obvious he was contradicting himself, IIRC.
He has historically been super stubborn about his idiosyncratic beliefs. Sigh.
Bless you.
Thanks for your kind reply.
I’m wondering if this isn’t signaling the long predicted house cleaning God is scheduled to do at the upper levels of Christian leadership circles.
If so . . . this is barely a beginning. I believe that a shocking number are going to drop dead in prime time, on their own shows.
THE AUTHENTIC REVERENTIAL FEAR AND AWE OF THE LORD
WILL BE
YET AGAIN A HALLMARK OF TRUE BELIEVERS
. . . and a lot of bystanders scorched by God’s judgment on close by Christian leaders . . . that will begin in the House of God.
