Tell us it ain’t so, Alton!
The most accessible and funniest (and fact-based) cooking show EVER and he is walking away?
Alton, your fans are pleading for you to reconsider!

Bummer, that was a good show and frankly, one of the most informative and as funny as heck.

The earlier episodes were much better than the later. Too much comedy and not enough cooking.

Alton shouldn’t be allowed to quit until every time he said ‘But that’s another show’, the show actually got made. Otherwise, we the viewers, have been cheated!

He owns a 15,000 sq ft studio.... he’s going to do something with it and he won’t likely be the net Pat Robertson I bet. lol

I enjoyed when he went cross-country journey on a motorcycle. The series about road food.

I saw enough of his show in 2006 to think of it as the best, how to show, ever.
They should release an encyclopedia book form, DVD collection.

As a culinary professional, I have to say that Alton is the most professional and technically accurate of all the TV food personalities. I love Bobby Flay's BBQ, but he's an ass, and if he gets out of his area, he founders. Same with Emeril.
At least Mario stays with Italian stuff, which he does well. And I've heard through the grapevine that he runs a good (if somewhat rough) kitchen.
