When I was busy with training foreign nationals we often went to The Corps for experts in, well, not current equipment.

If this "it's mine and you can't use it" crap is someones idea of payback then the adults have lost control (and the Corps had gone corporate).

Agreed...gimme a gun that fires reliably, food that sustains me and boots that get me from here to there and I care not who or where they come from....I am a little bitter about the Army coming up with this hoo-hah thing...any Jarhead knows your war face can only be accompanied by ooooo-rah!

Yeah, when I was in the Corps we had a lot of hand me down U.S. Army equipment ... only we knew how to make it work. The U.S.M.C, in terms of bang for the buck, is America's best fighting force ... no question. If Marines had landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944 with the same numbers the U.S. Army did ... the war in Europe would have been over in 5 months.
