Lawyers representing Giovanni Ramirez, the man authorities insist is the "prime suspect" in the Bryan Stow beating case, are offering more reasons why their client is not connected to this crime. One issue is that of his hair, or the suspect's lack thereof, according to NBC Los Angeles, as well as a few more as-yet unproved claims.

According to his legal team, Ramirez "did not have a shaved head -- as the suspects are described -- at the time of the Dodger Stadium opening day assault on a Giants fan." Ramirez's attorneys explain that his client had grown his hair in during the month of March, but did not shave it, as it appears in his mug shot, until a couple of days after March 31.

One curious angle of objection from the Ramirez camp is that he insists he has never been to Dodger Stadium, period. However, notes NBC, "The San Francisco Examiner reports that among Ramirez's tattoos is an LA Dodgers logo."

However, Ramirez could be a suspect in a Nevada murder case, as being reported by some local news outlets here and in Las Vegas. A Giovanni Ramirez, or "Giovanny Ramirez" with the same birthdate as the Stow suspect, is wanted for a January shooting. "The shooting was allegedly pre-meditated with Ramirez retaliating for the 2005 killing of his daughter," notes the Daily Breeze. In the suspect description for the crime, the man in question was wearing "a black hoodie type jacket with a blue Dodger baseball hat."
