Writing stuff down and posting it is becoming a lost art. I am seeing more and more “video only” posts, expecting us to go to a website and waste many minutes watching something somebody else thinks is important. I hardly ever click into these types of stories anymore.
“Video only” posts are only a hair above stupid one-line vanities. If it’s important enough to post, then tell me enough about it to let me decide if I want to see it.

Yes indeed, video-pimping is worse than blog-pimping. At least with blog-pimping you get a sentence or two and know its a blog.
Agreed 100% as well — if you don’t believe in something enough to retell the tale in words (which doesn’t require a lot of effort), then how will anybody actually believe you’ll follow through and carry out a revolution??
Of course, that’s the assumption from the Marxists: that we’re all sheep. So far they’re pretty much right. What will it take before the heavy lifting gets started?

I agree with you 100%. I often view these posts from my Kindle or my Blackberry, and neither will show the video. Use the video as backup, but provide some sort of written information for us video-challenged.
