I had shingles last fall and when I went to my longtime M.D. she said,”Didn’t you have the shingles shot?”. I said I had never heard of it and it would have been nice if she had mentioned it.

I found out later that at least 1/2 of my friends had received it.

Needless to say,I was annoyed.

I found out about the pneumococcus vaccine--after I got out of the Hospital. I hate it when that happens.

Funny how so much TV time is spent advertising Cialis, Viagra, etc., but none is spent advertising vaccines which might actually do some good. (It isn't as if word wouldn't get around about Cialis and Viagra, etc. anyway.)
