While my vote is probably the (truly hilarious) fight scene from They Live, here’s a fight scene from a martial arts movie called The Warrior King, noteworthy because the entire four minute fight scene was shot in one single take with one single camera. It’s quite amazing.

The fight scene in “Top Secret”
tony jaa’s 4+ minute fight scene in the protector.
gibson vs isaacs in the patriot
adrian paul vs donnie yen in highlander endgame
any climatic fencing scene with basil rathbone
any fight scene with someone who uses capoeira. those are always fun to watch.
that’s the one....
Very cool clip.
Luke vs. Vader in Empire
Final hand-to-hand-with-firing-gun scene in Equilibrium.
I’ll second “Equilibrium” for best _stylized_ gunfights, and “Heat” for best _realistic_ gunfight.
“Bloodsport” for best straight-up hand to hand fighting.
“First Blood” and “The Hunted” tie for best manhunt.
I would also add the end fight of the movie Serenity where Summer Glau takes on the Reavers.
Others that come to mind, the Warriors vs. the Baseball Furies in the Warriors movie. Perhaps that’s because as a Red Sox fan I liked watching Yankees fans get beat up, ha ha ha. And Ajax was always one of my favorite Greek heros, as far as I’m concerned the first Objectivist.
For comedy, the end fight scene from Slap Shot.
The fight at the end of Blazing Saddles
Maybe erring due to recency, but the tournament fight scene from the last “Karate Kid” with Will Smith’s kid- was really good
Jackie Chan fan here!
They were rough guys. They beat each other pretty good.
First one that came to my mind as well. Put on the damned sunglasses already!
I haven’t seen the remade Karate Kid film yet. You thought it was good?
My favorite scene where River gets into a killing mood is in the series ("War Stories" episode) , when she takes a quick glance and then shoots 3 men with her eyes closed.
I'll have to check out some of the movies you guys are mentioning - I haven't seen many of them.
Will Smith’s kid is a good actor, and Jackie Chan was great
The Chinese scenery was breathtaking
Actually it should have been called “The Kung Fu Kid”
John Wayne was also involved, as I recall, in an epic bar fight that took place in the Yukon. Stewart Granger was also involved. However, the memory fades......
“The Duellists” (Ridley Scott) for best duels.
