After watching them play quite a bit this year, I am honestly surprised they have gotten this far in either tournament. Kentucky is going to be a very tough opponent.
Kemba has pretty much taken every player on that team and made them compete and raise their game. I read a recent story on him in the Courant, and he sounds like quite an impressive all-around young man.

Sad news about Larry Finch, that was the first Championship Game I ever watched on TV, that night that Bill Walton went off for 44 points.
Young team , as you well know . Kemba will probably leave for the NBA after this season ...but can you imagine if he stayed for his senior year ???
Who woulda thunk Butler would make it to back-to-back Final games.
Refuse to watch Con U. The only way they win is if the refs swallow the whistle. UK wins in a fair fight.
I thought VCU was gonna crush ‘em. They’re much faster. It just shows what a well coached team can do. Go Butler!
Woo hoo. Butler did it. Go Butler!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh , you mean the refs gave UConn a 20+ point win vs. UK in Maui ?
Nope, most recently the win that got them to the final four.
Just think, Florida could be in Monday night’s game had they won last week.
;)
Kentucky
I don’t have a dog in this hunt but, after watching the team intros, I gotta go with Kentucky. As for the eventual champ- I gotta go with the team with the least tattoos— Butler
Great Game!! Great Fun. Both teams played so well. One Point Win.
Congrats. UCONN.
Kentucky needed one more second.
Go Huskies!
We pulled it off! UConn.
UCONN, UCONN, did the IMPOSSIBLE and BEAT KY! 56-55, CT! :)=^..^=
It was a great game. Even though I think U Conn is the better team, I’m still gonna root for Butler. Most of the players are from small towns in Indiana and the coach is as clean as a whistle. The Uconns appear to be a bunch of high five ‘in, dancin’ and jivin’ louts. And Jim Calhoun is either one of the biggest crooks in the game, or suffering from dementia.
Walker didn’t make 20 , and if you’ll recall I said if he was held to under 20 we were in trouble ...well , I was right , but we manged the win anyway ! I don’t see Butler beating us , but in this crazy March Madness arena anything is possible it seems . GO HUSKIES ! Now it’s the ladies’ turn ! God Bless John Toner for bringing Calhoun and Auriemma to Storrs !
Go UConn men and women, give me a birthday gift which is tomorrow by taking it ALL!
