CBS Reporter Feeling Fine After Speaking Gibberish at Grammys...
KCBS-TV’s Serene Branson was reporting on “highlights and backstage coverage” from the award ceremony when her delivery devolved into a series of nonsensical words.
Many viewers were concerned that she had possibly suffered a stroke during the live broadcast.
2nd Case of Reporter Speaking Gibberish on Air
We all remember CBS reporter Serene Branson who had a solid 20-second rant on air following the Grammys, which was absolutely incoherent gibberish. Many suspected she had a stroke on the air, but it was revealed that a migraine was the actual cause.
Well, we now have a second case of on-air gibberish. It is Global Toronto reporter Mark McAllister, who last night suffered an on-air medical issue that left him with “badly garbled speech.” While people watched, very confused, McAllister attempted to riff on a news story on Libya, but he spent 20 seconds or so making no sense.
