The paper is currently in press at the Journal of Coastal Research and is provided with open access to the full publication. The results are stunning for their contradiction to AGW theories which suggest global warming would accelerate sea level rise during the last century.

Conclusion:
Our analyses do not indicate acceleration in sea level in U.S. tide gauge records during the 20th century. Instead, for each time period we consider, the records show small decelerations that are consistent with a number of earlier studies of worldwide-gauge records. The decelerations that we obtain are opposite in sign and one to two orders of magnitude less than the +0.07 to +0.28 mm/y2 accelerations that are required to reach sea levels predicted for 2100 by Vermeer and Rahmsdorf (2009), Jevrejeva, Moore, and Grinsted (2010), and Grinsted, Moore, and Jevrejeva (2010). Bindoff et al. (2007) note an increase in worldwide temperature from 1906 to 2005 of 0.74uC.
It is essential that investigations continue to address why this worldwide-temperature increase has not produced acceleration of global sea level over the past 100 years, and indeed why global sea level has possibly decelerated for at least the last 80 years.

Warmer air can hold more moisture ‘in suspension’.
What percentage of world water is present in vapor form within the atmosphere in ratio to the amount condensed or precipitated out and is in bodies of water or in the ground sysyem?
Al Gore will argue that it's just a matter of time until the skies open up, which Australia has been the first to experience as we've witnessed. It's right there in front of your eyes. The sea levels are rising, but much higher than the sea.
I'm not of that theory, but that will be their answer.

But Obama announced that we were going to stop the rising of the seas, and allow the planet to heal. What ever happened with that????

The GAO is currently processing the bids for Band-Aids large enough for the wounds to heal.
Or perhaps the stated premise is untrue or at least exagerated. Perhaps the “worldwide temperature increase . . . over the last 100 years” is not as significant as we have been led to believe.

Of course I have no scientificly valid proof of this claim, but it's just as or more valid than anything the AGW crowd passes off as fact.
Flat enrollment means we need a tax increase for the schools
Increased enrollment means we need a tax increase to fund the schools.
Declining enrollment means we face a tax increase to fund the schools due to decreased state and federal funds based on number of students.

Wikipedia (yes, I know the warnings) lists water as averaging 0.4% of the air and the total mass of the atmosphere as 5.1480×10^18 kg. Spread evenly over the entire surface of the earth that would be about 1.5 inches of water.
Copy this into google to see my calculation: 5.1480×10^18 kg * 0.4% * 1 (liter/kg) / (4 * pi * (4000 miles)^2) in inches
Another wiki page lists the mass of the oceans as 1.4×10^21 kg, so the atmospheric water is 0.0015% of the oceans' mass. That's somewhat in error because I didn't take into account ocean water's salt content.
(After doing that calculation I realized that wiki listed the atmospheric content by volume rather than by mass. Since water has a molecular weight of 18 compared to 28 and 32 for nitrogen and oxygen, I overstated the weight and final depth by about one third).
Al Gore is a huckster.
My take is that the data has been manipulated, and we have been lied to. The whole AGW scare is one giant fraud whereby insiders make money, and everyone else in the world suffers.
