When you say ‘event’, just what are you thinking of? A book signing, or some other such event? How many people would make it worthwhile? Give me some ideas, and I’ll mull it over. If you want to keep it private, Freepmail me.

"...When you produce a series of masterful, comprehensive historical masterpieces that are representative of this nation and the highest hopes of all patriots, you get to post these threads and they are welcome.

It's a matter of pride for all FReepers to have such company on this forum...

Normally, I would give a noob a break and politely explain the situation to them, but I am in a bad mood regarding self-appointed spam police after some thuggish gang behavior (by a bunch of self-appointed spam police) that I saw on another thread a few weeks back.

They might have had an argument, but it could have been handled differently, it escalated, and I think we may have lost a real conservative as a result.

Defending Liberty didn’t have a leg to stand on here, though.

Larry, will you ever come to Southern Oregon, Northern California or even the populated areas up north Like Portland?

I’d definitely come to one if it was in my state.

Ed

Well, you’re more likely to see my co-author, Mike Allen, who is at Tacoma. I’m sure if you have a Tea Party group, we can book him for a talk!

Hey spammer :-)
I can’t wait to read your latest book. My husband and I loved the two we’ve already read.

Well, unless you are really, really big, publishers don’t “do” booksignings anymore. The author has to set it up, usually through a local bookstore then by inviting a lot of people they know in the area. So, I’m happy to do one next time I’m there-—I get out to S Cal about 4-5 times a year for my film work. But I couldn’t arrange the event: you or someone else would have to, and the pressure would be on you (from the bookstore) to make sure that you get a good attendance. I’m up for it if you are.

Thanks. “What Would the Founders Say?” is good. I’m nearly finished with a “Patriot’s History of the Modern World,” which will be absolutely terrific. As good as PHUSA.

Thanks, I just didn’t want to see Larry take any grief over posting welcome news. He went through some trouble to sign a book I gave to my son for Christmas. My son keeps the copy of the book on his nightstand, I think it really means something to him. Cheers!

Yep...agreed. That is a good sign that the autographed copy is important to him, the content is important. I hope to catch him at one of those signings one day too...
