10.3. Wow. Not good. As long as you can keep it below 7, you're good to go. My problem was, I probably had Type II for a dozen years before it finally got diagnosed, and unfortunately it left it's calling card before it was caught. And the calling card was what prompted me to see a doctor and get it clinically diagnosed. Mine turned out to be genetic and not acute, and I didn't find out until after I'd been diagnosed and did a little investigative work. The maternal side of my family had it run rampant, going back generations. Everyone on Mom's side of the family had a gimpy pancreas right out of the gate. LOL

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

You can never cure Type 2 Diabetes by diet restrictions. Never. The best you can hope for is to control it thru diet and exercise. But, be aware, it will ALWAYS be lurking on the sidelines waiting for you to slip up.
