What is the general case is that they come with duties. In the case of my friend's husband he is caring for his mother and his handicapped sister.
That, in my mind and in hers, makes him a remarkable and very loving person. That is top notch husband material.
They might settle for a younger man, if all the young women are taken by older guys.
