Cornwall (and devonshire) are two parts of england I have not spent time in, to my great regret. There is SO much bronze/iron age stuff about the countryside. I may have to wait a while till kids grown but I do intend to take a week or so to drive around and explore at some point, if england is still a reasonable place to go in 15 years.
It’s less expensive out there than in London, but if you have interest, worth the trip. There is great charm there of course, though not like the Cotswolds, but something also very eerie and otherworldly; there’s also plenty of Arthuriana if that’s of interest to you, i.e., Tintagel, as well as up in Somerset,i.e., Glastonbury, etc, and of course Salisbury is loaded with stuff, i.e., Stonehenge. All fascinating. Wales too. So much to see, so little time...
