If you don’t like curry, a number of other foodstuffs like French’s yellow mustard have tumeric in them.

Someone who doesn't like curry might try turmeric by itself. I have some turmeric powder and it doesn't have that strong a taste.

I do it in reverse. I like curry, but turmeric by itself is awful.

True..You can also just cook some with your rice—Spanish arroz con pollo for example regularly is made with tumeric. It gives it an appealing yellow color.
