" I always say I'm a mean-spirited narrow-minded right-wing, conservative Christian ... I start out with that, and if you don't like it, you can lump it. I am not politically correct." These words endeared her to conservatives through out the decades. She said she loved the 40s and 50s in Hollywood because it was so conservative and so patriotic with the likes of James Stewart, John Wayne and Charlton Heston to name a few. She had no time for liberals and no desire to turn the United States over to a one world order. She fought for conservative values and never needed approval from her industry peers or the fans.

Russell appeared occasionally on the Praise The Lord program on the
Trinity Broadcasting Network, a Christian TV channel based in Costa Mesa, Cali.
Russell was at times a prominent Republican Party member who attended
Dwight Eisenhower's inauguration with other notables from Hollywood Lou
Costello, Dick Powell, June Allyson, Anita Louise and Louella Parsons.

Jane Russell was a great actress and made a great many really good movies such as UNDERWATER, THE LAS VEGAS STORY, FATE IS THE HUNTER among others.
