My Grandma’s cousin, Mary Marguerite, was a Nurse who served in France during WWI; she died of influenza in 1918. Funny to think how very long they have been gone when you read about this Gentleman’s passing; my Grandpa who died a couple of years ago at 99 was the only one left who had a vague memory of her.
