Whatever it was it's been reported frequently over the centuries. You have to dig into some Classical Islamic lore for the reports though.

Basically the belief is that many of the ancients (in the 800s and 900s) reported VISITING HEAVEN ~ whatever that was ~ they'd come and go on flying objects, and actually go to other planets in our system and others in minutes.

Some modern Islamic analysts have suggested that the classical belief that Heaven was nearby may have been in error considering the real distances to other planets, so maybe the traveling devices taking them there traveled at tremendous speeds.

This is one of the topics modern trained high level engineers (who happen to be Moslem) have debated ~ 'cause there was never any good resolution of what those ball drops on Jerusalem were all about yet they continue to be seen.

This is the first time I've seen a video reported but there may be others.
