Aw hell, just add The Great Oz. I am making that comparison right now. LOL Probably the most apt comparison of them all....

“Jesus Christ”
I am shocked that anyone would go that far. What thread?

Are you suggesting that the Roanoke Conference is not a GOP event? Or is it that you would rather not think about the meaning and implications of palin polling only 2%?

Unfortunately, I didn’t bookmark any of the comparions, but I assure you that none of these are made up.
IIRC, the JC reference was not the thread topic. It was an individual post where someone compared an event in Jesus’ life to one in Palin’s life.
Now, around Easter last year, as pointed out on this thread, another poster made several direct comparisons, and was banned for being sacrilegious.

Actually, I think Palin is like Schafly in *one* area-they’re both prominent spokeswomen for the conservative cause.

Oh I believe it. There have been so many outrageous, outlandish and exaggerated comparisons, it wouldn’t surprise me at all...

I’ve read Going Rogue, and she sounds like anything but.

OK - I haven’t read it - nor will I. Glad you found something in it.

The English tortured Wallace to death. Palin’s opponents, on the left anyway, only wish they could.

Although Mel does have the thighs. That woman has basketball thighs. She could crack walnuts between those things.

Wow, I think the next thread should be a comparison between Sarah Palin and Superman.

Check out post #46. Superman can now be added to that list.
Good list btw, I especially like the Cincinnatus, Joan of Arc, and Obi-Wan Kenobi ones.

Hardly, Schafly would have never been pimping McCain.
Phyllis would never have urged a Senator to vote for the LOST Treaty.
Phyllis would not be soft on the gay agenda, nor does she support registration amnesty.
There really is no comparison.
One is a real tried and true conservative, the other is not.
