Thanks a lot. Now here comes another Obama “idea”. The EPA will designate light as a “pollutant” and institute a “photon tax” to make us more like our North Korean brothers.
There is a picture that NASA put together some time back of the entire earth at night. (I'd link the picture in here, but the picture is bloody huge.) You can tell at a glance where civilization exists. The U.S., Europe, Japan, and to a lesser degree, India and China are all perfectly visible. Africa, South America and Asia have isolated spots of light surrounded by utter darkness. Even Australia is mostly dark, with highlights of the major cities. You can definitely pick out Sidney!
The only thing North Koreans DON’T need is a great view of the stars...
