That's not what it sounds like. What he's describing seems to consistent with a ledger entry. If Abercrombie really had something worthwhile he'd be waving it around like a U.S. flag at the Olympics.
I doubt any Democrat has the guts.

And it is located in the STATE ARCHIVES, not at the Dept. of Health where birth records normally are maintained. FISHY???????????
Rush didn’t bring it up because there was no exit strategy. Now he’s got a D Governor in one of the most corrupt states in the US BRINGING THE ISSUE UP ON HIS OWN, and then FAILING TO PRODUCE THE DOCUMENT.
Suddenly, this isn’t about Obama’s birth certificate. Abercrombie and Hawaii didn’t lose some insignficant document - they lost a birth certificate. It’s a damned important document in the USA. Without it, no Social Security Number, no nothing.
I have an adopted daughter, and I can tell you that Social Security takes the idea of birth certificates pretty seriously (or they did 10 years ago).
Say ANYBODY in Hawaii over the age of 45 wanted an official copy of their birth certificate, because their’s was burned in a bank fire and destroyed. Is Hawaii going to say, “Well, we don’t have it, but we have record of you having had it here once.”
The whole argument changed. Now this is about painting Hawaii as being completely without credibility at all in anything, and then questioning the legitimacy of any claim made by anybody there claiming anything at all.
This is something that any other state would have dealt with by lunch. “Go down to the archives and pull the file before you sit down to your ham on rye. Thanks.”
The entire issue dies. Why is it still alive?
The last 16 years of government at all levels has been pretty much piss poor, and we are talking about cutting it down to the essentials. Governor Idiot of Hawaii steps up and announces, “We should not only NOT do government health care, we can’t even keep track of birth certificates.”
At what point do you put all Federal and State government offices in a giant set of Depends and then talk about what hospice is going to take the drooling heap of addled infirmity that once was Defender of Freedom Worldwide?

Regardless, Obama according to to his own words in “Dreams from My Father” has an original BC is his possession.
So I will condense te issue to one key question that Pen Johannson cites at The Daily Pen as one of his questions for Congress:
QUESTION 12: What documented evidence was used by the DNC, which was not available to the Democrat Party of Hawaii, to determine that Barack Obama was legally qualified to serve as President under the provisions of the U.S. Constitution?
Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean should know the answer to this critical question, along with one Senator Barack Hussein Obama II from Illinois.
I’m wondering if the FEC will claim that federal elections can’t be run or affected by state election boards. So the state can pass the law, but will it be respected on a fed election? It might have to run up the judicial tree.
The “state archives” comment sounds right to me. Most of the vital records would have been entered in a database and the actual hard copies of records have to be stored somewhere. I doubt they would be onsite at the DOH.
The fishy part is that former director Fukino claimed to have seen an original birth certificate, along with registrar Alvin T. Onaka, Ph.D. Abercrombie obviously cannot show that record to the public and the ledger entry is something he doesn’t want to show either. Let’s keep in mind, he was vowing to show up the so-called birthers by backing up his buddy Obama and now this only came up because a reporter asked him about the status of this mission. Abercrombie sounded very hesitant to talk about it and he carefully parsed how he answered the question. They don’t have jack squat to back up Obama.
Limbaugh on rare occasion mentions BO’s/BS’s ineligibility in passing at most but basically ignores the biggest Constitutional crisis of our time like the rest of the media.
