Great game. The Ducks were a very impressive team. I’ll never bad mouth the Pac-10 again.

Ouch, the toughest way to lose a game. That dead play and run was the worst.
Congrats Auburn

SEC rules!
OU coach lost that for them by choosing to go for it on that 4th and goal rather than try a chip shot field goal.

Even though they're both government-run schools, it was GREAT to see yet another football team from the BBQ belt in Conservative Dixie beat one from liberal, latte-sipping Oregon. In a perfect world, my dream would be for a private Southern Christian school (such as TCU) to be a team from a Marxist mecca such as Cal-Berkeley.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a play where a guy is tackled yet the defender flips him over his body without touching the ground and he gets back up and keeps going for another 40 yards. That play won the game. A true fluke. I wonder if naything like it has ever happened before. Still, Auburn looked the better team to me throughout the game.

My two favorite tweets regarding the result:
Congratulations to Auburn University* and Cam Newton* for winning the 2011 National Championship*.
Congrats to Auburn for winning the 2011 title. And congrats in advance to Oregon for winning it retroactively in 2013.

Great game. Congrats to Auburn. Oregon had too many mental mistakes and should have given up on the running game much sooner.
Oregon should be preseason #1 next year if they can replace some of the offensive line. Also need to get bigger by #15-20# per man on the line.

A surprisingly low scoring game.. just 41 points between them. I thought they’d have that by halftime.
