Auburn beats Oregon 22-19
An offensive player rolling on top of his tackler happens rather frequently. It happened in, i think, the LSU game friday.
My two favorite tweets regarding the result:
Congratulations to Auburn University* and Cam Newton* for winning the 2011 National Championship*.
Congrats to Auburn for winning the 2011 title. And congrats in advance to Oregon for winning it retroactively in 2013.
s/to be a team/to BEAT a team/
War Eagle! what was up with crazy slippery field?

Great game. Congrats to Auburn. Oregon had too many mental mistakes and should have given up on the running game much sooner.
Oregon should be preseason #1 next year if they can replace some of the offensive line. Also need to get bigger by #15-20# per man on the line.
SEC must be slipping, they should have buried the Quackers..
Plus Auburn wouldn't have risked it since they've been on probation before during an undefeated season back when Terry Bowden was coaching.
LOL
Resodded after the Fiesta Bowl on January 1st.
They put in new turf specifically for tonight's game. "If it ain't broke..."
A surprisingly low scoring game.. just 41 points between them. I thought they’d have that by halftime.
Unfortunately the field will end up being the big story, players couldn't make any decent cuts without slipping, I think that kept the score down.
I think you’re giving the NCAA and Auburn way too much credit.
Congrats Auburn! Go SEC!!!
They were better. But by a field goal. And one very lucky play were everyone thought the RB was down, including the Dyer himself.
the field was a big part of the game...guys losing footing, sliding around, not able to make turns...guess the advange went to the team with the right cleats.
I’m a TCU grad and a standing joke is to call the school “
Texas Christian (do not let the name fool you) University. The school is Christian in name only. :( In fact, there is a movement to change the name of the school because Lib professors think having “Christian” in the name harms graduates’ job prospects. We real Christians think the name change is a good idea: it does away with false advertising.
You must remember, the Brite Divinity School invited Jeremiah Wright to campus shortly after his theology was exposed to the world.
Other than that, TCU is a fine school with great students, but as is the case with much of academia, many of the professors are to the left of Pol Pot.
It doesn't seem likely. Until there's evidence of the kid or the program doing something, and not just his greedy old man, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Congratulations Auburn, you were the best today.
