There are plenty of non-violent, non-insane pot smokers. I know. I lived with a bunch of Deadheads in college.
My guess is schizophrenia. But his psychosis could have been brought on, or exacerbated by, "Conscious Dreaming."
New Age teachings aren't simply daffy. They are often deadly. I've listened to Sharon Lee Giganti describe the horrifying mental unraveling of her New Age disciples on a Catholic Answers radio program. Absolutely heartbreaking.
People with his disorder tend to not deal with reality. They tend IMO to get more violent or to react badly to those who oppose their view.
They almost always blame others for their problems. They all seem to be extra horny and don't get why people and especially the opposite sex don't find them irresistible.
They often have high intelligence but they have no way to draw IMO rational conclusions.
My wife has one of these gems this moment in her Santa Monica College class. Talking death, killing and all that. My wife is staying second closest to the door and the student and college has done nothing with this guy yet.
